Jamma Conversion

I don’t know what has come over me but I am now obsessed with old arcade games. I really did not know there was such a huge community of people playing, building, and restoring these machines.
I bought an X-Arcade controller and I am not really satisfied. Nit because of the controller but because of using MAME. I think it is awful in some ways. It’s great to play old games, the actual ROMS that is but there is no way to tell if a ROM works with a specific emulator version. This hella sucks. I can only get Dig Dug to work on MAME OSX. The rest it won’t.
So what to do one might ask. Well there is a post 1985 board spec called JAMMA and there are board makers that sell things like a 60-in-1 board that has all my favorites. I looked at my X-Arcade board and I think if I build a deeper pedastal I can convert it to a Jamma 60-in-1 Supergun. Oh yeah homemade Jamma boxes are called Superguns. I have no freaking clue why.
I always got something going so wish me luck!

Actually I am not going to convert the x-arcade. I am looking for a box to build a one play setup. As small as I can make it. This is going to be interesting!
